School of Management Overseas Study Visit 2026 | Nagoya, Japan
This June, 29 students from the School of Management joined a six-day overseas study visit in Nagoya, exploring the theme "Sustaining Excellence: Innovation & Management in Japan."
Through case discussions at NUCB, company visits to Maruya Hatcho Miso, the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, and Asahi Forge, students gained firsthand insights into Japanese innovation, craftsmanship, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.
The program concluded with team presentations comparing Japanese and Taiwanese companies and industries, encouraging students to rethink familiar business challenges from new cultural, industrial, and managerial perspectives.
More than an overseas study visit, it was an opportunity to broaden their horizons, connect theory with practice, and discover new ways of thinking about management in a global context. ✨
